The automobile plant workers celebrated the 70th anniversary of PJSC “AutoKrAZ” in a warm family atmosphere.
Festivities took place on the company’s proving ground. About 3000 workers with their families, veterans and visitors were present at award ceremony that took place after congratulatory speech of General Director Mr. Roman Chernyak and guests of honour. The best workers have been awarded Appreciation Certificates and Letters of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Poltava Regional Public Administration and Kremenchug City Council for weighty contribution to the development of automotive industry, professionalism and meritorious labor. In its turn, the management and trade union representatives awarded to the best workers corporate distinctions such as Golden Mark of Kremenchug Automobile plant, medals for meritorious labor of I-V degrees, Certificates of Appreciation, treasured gifts and performance bonuses.
The parade of vehicles marked the festivity, first were historical vehicles restored by the automobile plant workers: the first-born KrAZ-222 Dnieper, the KrAZ-214 military vehicle, the legendary KrAZ-255B with BMK T boat, the KrAZ-260 military vehicle and, of course, show-truck KrAZ Crazy Crocodile.
The solemn parade of power was continued with mass produced and new KrAZ vehicles. Besides cabovers and armored vehicles, which have recently gone into production, the attendees could see the KrAZ Feona AWD armored vehicle mounted on the KrAZ-6322 chassis. The KrAZ Feona vehicle has robust monocoque hull made from armored steel, which provides reliable protection of crew against small arms fire and mine explosion.
This armored vehicle had a successful debut at the International Defence Exhibition IDEX-2015 in Abu Dhabi (UAE), in Ukraine this vehicle has been shown for the first time ever.
The completion of the parade was marked by demonstration of capabilities of the KrAZ-6322 and KrAZ-5233 trucks, which easily drove over concrete obstacles, crossed wading trough and climbed up a high hill.
As part of anniversary celebration festivities, the Museum of Kremenchug Automobile Plant History has been inaugurated. Established in 1967 it has been closed since 2005. It resumed its activity on occasion of the 70th anniversary of the company.
The completion of celebration festivities was marked by concert.
