On the eve of New Year rescuers of Donetsk region received eight fire fighting trucks, four of which are heavy vehicles based on the KrAZ-65053 6х4 chassis. The vehicles have been purchased using budget funds through open bidding process. They will be used for fire fighting operations, emergency response, carrying fire fighting agents to the scene. The vehicles will be transferred to rescuers of Slaviansk, Liman, Mariupol, Druzhkovka and Pervomaisk region.

Chairman of SERS M.Chechotkin said during transfer ceremony that fleet renewal would continue. The 2017 budget provides UAH 600m on purchase of fire fighting rescue vehicles for SERS.

Domestic manufacturer of trucks, “AutoKrAZ” hopes that budget funds will be used to support national manufacturers, job creation and economy development. There is all the more reason for this as Kremenchug Automobile Plant has all the resources required to provide SERS units with up-to-date efficient special vehicles for fire fighting and emergency response: production facilities, well-proven technologies, skilled personnel.
