«AutoKrAZ» together with 500 participants from 23 countries of the world participated at major agricultural event of the season, International Exhibition Grain Technologies 2017 held February 15 — 17 in Exhibition Centre «KievExpoPlaza».
Products on display have been exhibited by participants from France, Germany, Netherlands, Great Britain, Czech Republic, Denmark, and Austria. Kremenchug Automobile Plant, one of two representatives of automobile industry and the only domestic manufacturer, showcased its medium-duty KrAZ-5401С2 4?2 dump truck. It differs from its predecessors by excellent maneuverability (minimum turning radius about 7,5m), 10 tonnes payload capacity and unique 7 cu. m. box-type dump body with remotely controlled tailgate.
Agrarians and farmers showed their interest in domestic novelty throughout exhibition days. Engine manufacturer, parameters, vehicle equipment set and manufacturer, type of axle, specifications, performance, the minutest particulars were of interest for managers, engineers of farms from all the regions of our country who attended KrAZ’s stand. According to them, this vehicle small and compact but capacious will be of use for carrying cereals to grain store. Many of them asked about KrAZ baby, 5-tonnes KrAZ-5401 vehicle they consider as replacement for old and obsolete GAZon and and ZIL vehicles used for carrying cereals from elevators to warehouses.
It should be recalled that in summer preliminary testing of new KrAZ-5401С2 dump truck was completed, showing its excellent fuel efficiency. At a speed of 40 km /h fuel consumption is 20,6 l /100 km, 50 km/h — 23,0 l/100 km, 60 km/h — 25,6 l /100 km, 80 km /h — 30 l/100 km. What is more, the vehicle develops top speed of 110,2 km/h with lest of almost 10 tonnes at GVW of 18600 kg.
