During the visit Serhiy Kryvonos and  General Director of the company Roman Chernyak discussed the situation with the provision of special vehicles and armored vehicles for Ukrainian Armed Forces that will enhance their ability to protect the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

Today AvtoKrAZ offers to Ukrainian militaries the special-purpose equipment, which provides increasing the level of equipment of the armed forces, logistics, improvement of conditions of service, the preservation of human lives. These are, in particular, carriers for rocket complexes, artillery equipment, platform trucks, vagon crew carriers, armored vehicles, truck cranes, refrigerators, excavators - more than 50 types of military equipment. The KrAZ military trucks meet all the requirements for military equipment: strong, durable, reliable and unpretentious, have high technical and operational characteristics.

Moreover all these vehicles are created - from design documentation to finished products - for invested funds of AvtoKrAZ shareholders (their volume is over UAH 100 million within last 5 years!). While competitors are developing a design documentation, manufacturing and tests of prototypes at costs of R&D budget of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

During the visit the Deputy Secretary of the NSDC has looked at few samples of the line of serial and advanced equipment produced by the national manufacturer – AutoKrAZ PJSC. Its power and technical capabilities were demonstrated at the factory test and proving ground. S. Kryvonos also familiarized himself with the material and technical base of the Training Center, where appropriate conditions were created for the training of drivers and mechanics who will serve KrAZ vehicles.

The Deputy Secretary of the NSDC expressed his interest in KrAZ products, noted the need to replenish the fleets of military units with high-cross-country-capability machinery of the domestic manufacturer. Indeed, the Ukrainian Army must use  Ukrainian vehicles.

Roman Chernyak, Director General of AvtoKrAZ, PJSC, confirmed the company's readiness to produce vehicles and vehicle sets in accordance with the customers  requirements and drew the attention of the NSDC Deputy Secretary Serhiy Kryvonos to the fact that foreign customers' attention to the KrAZ military and special equipment exceeds orders from the Ukrainian army due to bureaucratic obstacles in the procurement system for military vehicles
