07 April, 2015

The 4х2 KrAZ-5401Н2 new light chassis cab provided with refrigerator van was unveiled at the International Food Industry Equipment and Technologies Exhibition  ProdTekhMash 2015 held April in Kiev. This special vehicle has been built by “AutoKrAZ” and “InterCargoTruck” (Cherkassy).

This novelty features lighter units. One of the units that have been lightened is a suspension, this has been made possible due to use of cold-formed channel made from high-strength metal by Voestalpine AG (Austria) for chassis side members instead of hot-rolled channel.

Ergonomically designed MAN cab (2960 mm high as compared to 3050 mm high cab of the KrAZ-6511С4 dump truck), wide windshield offering excellent visibility, maximum commonality and adaptation to various power packs, 8,5 m turning radius shorter than preceding models, reduced fuel consumption and many other advantages highlight this model among its counterparts.

This chassis cab is provided with 33,13 cu.m refrigerator van that maintains temperature range from - 20 to +20 °С.

It is not surprising that this new national vehicle excited curiosity and approval of exhibition attendees. It may be said without exaggeration that the KrAZ-5401Н2  refrigerator van became a highlight of the exhibition and attracted to the company’s stand numerous attendees including food industry managers and workers.

Converted to platform truck this vehicle will ideally suit to needs of the department in urban cycle.
