KrAZ Showcases New Armored Vehicles to Army Men

“AutoKrAZ” in partnership with other defence companies of Ukraine showcased its military vehicles to Kiev association of military attaches. This event was held March 1 at NTU of Ukraine Igor Sikorskiy Kiev Polytechnic Institute.

The event has been organized by  Non-Governmental Organization “League of Defence Companies of Ukraine”, Igor Sikorskiy Kiev Polytechnic Institute and Defence Policy, Strategic Planning and International Cooperation Department  of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine invited domestic manufacturer  “AutoKrAZ” to participate at presentation of new national defence technologies. Kremenchug Automobile Plant takes intensive efforts to increase defence potential of Ukraine and, as usually, responded to a call by sending its armored vehicle KrAZ-Fiona. This vehicle is suited for combat missions both in urban cycle and on rough terrain. Fully armored vehicle is designed to protect occupants against ballistic threats at any angle.  All its components have been modified to support armor weight. Wheels arte provided with run-flat system. Passenger compartment is available in several versions to meet the needs of customers.

Fiona-APC is based on the KrAZ-6322 6х6 off road chassis. It can be provided with various types of engines made by different manufacturers. The vehicle has hydraulically driven rear doors, spot lamps, electrical winch, rear view camera, turret with arms mountings and towing hook.

Vehicle ballistic protection meets Stanag +4569 Level 3.

This model of military off road vehicle is used not only by UN peacekeeping missions but also at the frontline in ATO zone. Army men praise its excellent power and off road ability, reliability of armored body and other features that help soldiers to tackle various tasks and protect them at the frontline. “AutoKrAZ” is sure that participation at such events will help promote defence and technical cooperation between Ukraine and foreign countries and establishment of new companies with application of new technologies and investment encouragement, recovery of public-private partnership.
