As part of working trip to Dnipro to inspect works on route Н-08 Borispol - Kremenchug - Dnipro - Zhaporozhye, Head of SJSC “Ukrainian Motor Roads” Artyom Grinenko visited Kremenchug Automobile Plant on March 30. Purpose of his trip that deviated from route was to see products and manufacturing facilities of the only Ukrainian manufacturer of heavy-duty trucks.

Head of “Avtodor” could see complete cycle of truck assembly on major assembly line of the automobile plant: from laying chassis frame to rolling off assembly line in its last area. Then he checked up various models of KrAZ vehicles  built by the company, asked a lot of questions about special vehicles the plant can offer to road maintenance company to maintain road in good condition, specifications and performance, asked about production level the company’s staff could cope with, etc. He told about decision to purchase 200 special vehicles for needs of “Ukravtodor” taken this year, he is sure that “AutoKrAZ” has all the chances to win the bidding. First of all, due to production of competitive powerful vehicles, complete lineup of road maintenance vehicles and above all it is Ukrainian manufacturer that concentrated a lot of engineering companies and provides employment.

In its turn, “AutoKrAZ” hopes to provides road maintenance companies with domestic special vehicles that will help “Ukravtodor” to improve Ukrainian roads.
