Museum of Kremenchug Automobile Plant History celebrates its 50^th anniversary on 27^th of June. On occasion of the anniversary the museum will open its doors for everybody interested in visiting it: automobile plant employees, Kremenchug residents and visitors.

Entrance is free, public hours are from 9.00 to 16.00. The museum is on the first floor of the administration building No 2.

KrAZ museum history dates to 1967, half century ago. On the top of trends of Soviet period its inauguration was a present for workers on occasion of the 50^th anniversary of the Great October Revolution. Small room in engineering building of the automobile plant, dozens of exhibits, documents, photos, this event very important the plant was held without pomposity and formality during lunch break. In solemn silence, according to the company’s newspaper “Automaker”, red ribbon symbolizing museum inauguration was cut and first visit was held for engineers who worked in the same building.  

In 1970 the company’s museum moved to spacious room of new educational building. It is impossible to figure out how many visitors came to this museum during half century. These are numerous delegations from foreign countries, distinguished visitors of Kremenchug such as pilot-cosmonaut A.Leonov, S.Rotaru, N.Kirichenko, party leaders of the country and region, veterans of war, schoolchildren, students, Kremenchug residents and visitors.

For many years the museum has been closed. It was inaugurated in solemn ceremony on occasion of the company’s anniversary in 2015.
