New All-terrain Buses to Be Supplied to Miners on Steelworker Day

“AutoKrAZ” has shipped the KrAZ-5233 (FPV-14224) all-terrain buses to Northern and Central Mining and Concentrating Companies. It is notable that vehicles shipped will come on the eve of their professional holiday, Steelworker Day.

 These all-terrain buses are based on the KrAZ-5233Н2 two-axle chassis provided with diesel engine rated at 330hp and Webasto starting preheater. The cab is equipped with Pilot seat, additional electric devices such as dashboard camera and rear view camera monitor. Additional equipment also includes van air temperature gauge and van heating system controls.  

The van made by PC “Nefteavtomatika” (Poltava) accommodates 22 passengers. Semi-upholstered safety seats are provided with two-point seat belts, rear wall has anti-vandal functionality. Special hand rails are provided for safe boarding, exiting and on-board circulation.  

The van is provided with two heating systems:  the Planar-8D independent heating system that can operate when driving and stationary. Liquid heater operates from engine cooling system. The van and the cab have stationary intercommunications system.  

Except all-terrain buses shipped, this month the domestic manufacturer plans to supply special vehicles, platform trucks and refuellers, to Ukrainian miners. 

It should be noted that mining and concentrating companies and steel works of the country every year though in small numbers purchase KrAZ vehicles that meet their needs.
