The batch of crew vehicles was supplied to Ukrainian Mining and Processing Plants

28 July, 2017

Today another batch of KrAZ-5233 crew vehicles (ACB-014) was delivered from the Kremenchuk automobile plant to the customer. This time these are the Northern and Inhulets Mining and Processing Plants. It is the second batch of special-purpose vehicles for crew transportation to these customers this month.

The body produced by the Ukrainian manufacturer Intercargotruck LLC (Cherkasy) is installed on the KrAZ-5233H2 two-axle chassis equipped with the 330 h.p. Euro 5 diesel engine, the Webasto engine starting preheater. For the first time, upon the customer’s demand, the producer installed additional electric equipment - MDVR and the monitor of rear-view cameras on such type of vehicles. The comfortable "Pilot" seat is installed in a cab for the driver’s convenience. There are also the body temperature indicator and the operating control of the body heating systems.

The first and the second batch of crew vehicles have the safety seats with two-point safety belts and plastic anti-vandal protection on the back wall inside the body. Special handrails are provided for safe moving inside at boarding-deboarding. There is double heating system: the autonomous Planar-8D system, capable to work when in motion and on parking, and liquid system, working from an engine cooling system. The body and the cabin have the stationary double-sided intercom and a lot of other equipment that can simplify transportation and provide comfort to crews.

The first batch of KrAZ-5233 crew vehicles (FPV-14224) under this contract was delivered to miners two weeks ago, prior their professional holiday – the Metallurgist Day. At that time, special-purpose vehicles were equipped with the body produced by PJSC "Nefteavtomatika" (Poltava).
