Special municipal vehicle based on the KrAZ-5401Н2 light chassis is another product built by “AutoKrAZ” and Kremenchug company “Viva”. It is used for collection, transportation and discharge of non-combustible, non-corrosive and non-explosive liquid waste. Sewage suction equipment mounted on Ukrainian chassis ensures use of special vehicle in accordance with its application. Special equipment includes 6 cu.m. tank, vacuum pump, suction boom, hydraulic, air and electrical system and 3 m wide snow plough. Suction boom is controlled remotely using remote control panel, sludge is discharged by dumping.

The KrAZ-5401Н2 chassis is used for conversion to special vehicles provided with industrial equipment for driving on hard-surfaced roads including cobble-stone and stone roads. This special vehicle comes in standard configuration. To enhance security level and brake performance when laden on wet slippery surface and when going down, the brake system is provided with ABS.

This model of chassis has been designed to accommodate various superstructures. This made it possible to use this chassis as base for garbage trucks, street sweepers, winter service vehicles, vacuum trucks and other special vehicles in different regions of Ukraine. Recently made vacuum truck has been shipped to Cherkassy where it will be in service with municipal services to clear snow and clean sewerage.

It should be noted that sales of special vehicles expand nationwide: except Kremenchug, today they are seen in the streets  of Odessa, Kiev, Lutsk, \Zaporozhye, Dniepr, Nikolayev, Lvov, Poltava, etc. Collaboration of KrAZ and national and European manufacturers of superstructures makes it possible to meet all the needs of customers concerning chassis components and version of superstructure.
