“AutoKrAZ” showcased its products and demonstrated capabilities of Ukrainian manufacturer of trucks at the International Exhibition Eurosatory 2018 held June11 - 15 in Paris.
The most important events in land, airland defence and security Eurosatory impressed by its scale and geography. Attendees could see advanced prototypes of the most various military products from uniforms for police units to heavy artillery guns. KrAZ carried into effect its plans to hold meetings with partners of all the regions from South America to Southeast Asia.
“AutoKrAZ” displayed its products at the stand of SC “Ukroboronprom” together with other companies of Ukrainian defense sector. Vehicles of display were mockups of special armored vehicles KrAZ-Hulk, KrAZ-Fiona, heavy recovery vehicle based on 8х8 KrAZ chassis with equipment of Szcz??niak (Poland).
KrAZ delegates present at the stand gave detailed information about Hulk and Fiona armored vehicles well known to most of attendees. They were pleased to answer to numerous questions asked by visitors who in their turn praised advantages of these models as armored personnel carriers for tackling their main job - safe carrying of personnel to destination point.
Recovery vehicle was displayed as prototype. It is intended for refurbishment and recovery of damaged and disabled vehicles with load on recovery device of up to 10 tonne in harsh environment. It has been displayed to demonstrate abilities of 8х8 KrAZ chassis for carrying superstructure of this type and take opinions of professional users of similar vehicles in the armed forces, to know what is missing for more efficient use. All the valuable feedback gained will be used to make a prototype.
Except meetings with existing and potential customers, this exhibition differed by presence of manufacturers of wide range of automotive components, special automotive systems and military devices. KrAZ held a series of meetings, shaped plans on improvement of existing vehicles and creation of concept military vehicles that will enable the company to offer solutions keeping up with the times and over the long term.
