50 tons load carrying capacity crane truck based on the KrAZ-7133Н4 chassis appeared in the range of similar KrAZ special equipment

For the first time Ukraine’s most powerful crane with a maximum load carrying capacity of 50 tons was installed on a KrAZ-7133Н4 four-axle cabover chassis with 8?4 wheel arrangement, which optimally suits for installation of industrial equipment, in particular crane superstructures, and operation on all types of roads. Plant experts installed and adjusted the hoisting equipment.

The new vehicle specifications are as follows: the power pack includes a 430 h.p. Euro-5 engine, aggregated with a manual gearbox and the 1-disc, push-type clutch. The brake system drive type is pneumatic from the engine compressor, with ABS system. The cabover truck has a very comfortable cab with a sleeping berth and air conditioning. It contains a functional dashboard, an integral type steering gear with a built-in hydraulic booster, an adjustable steering column, and power windows.

The crane superstructure includes a five-section telescopic ovoid 40 meter length boom, which has an increased load-bearing capacity (load carrying capacity - 50 tons). The crane jib length is 10.0-17.0 m. The maximum load moment is 170 T*m. The driver’s cab is comfortable, with circular glass panning, which provides work area visibility for any boom length and its angle of inclination. The crane operation control system is standard with safety devices. An autonomous heater is installed in the crane operator’s cabin.

Crane trucks based on the KrAZ chassis are designed for cargo handling and installation/construction works. PJSC “AvtoKrAZ” offers 25, 32, 40 and 50-ton crane trucks based on its chassis with different wheel arrangements and configuration to its customers. KrAZ-65053, KrAZ-6322/63221, KrAZ-6511 chassis are also favorite models among customers. Cranes mounted on the KrAZ chassis have several advantages such as high load-carrying capacity of the vehicle chassis, maneuverability, durability and reliability.
