According to Development Plan for 2014 “AutoKrAZ” has developed and built a new KrAZ-5401 4х2 chassis cab. These chassis cabs have been designed to ensure maximum harmonization and adaptation to different power packs and special equipment.

At customer’s request the KrAZ-5401 chassis cab is provided with comfortable cab Hubei. It offers excellent value for money and ergonomic working conditions for driver. It has everything for comfort and less fatigue. It features comfortable air-suspended seat, tilt and height adjustable steering column, functional dashboard and many other features.

Above all else the new KrAZ-5401 chassis cab is powered with the YaMZ-536 (Euro 4) six cylinders-inline engine rated at 312hp provided with Exhaust Gas Recirculation System and silencer with built-in catalyst. The engine design allows adaptation to meet Euro-5 emissions standard without significant expenditures. The engine is coupled with the MFZ 430 single disk clutch and 9JS150ТА transmission. Weichai or Deutz engines are offered as options to these chassis cabs.

The KrAZ-5401 chassis cab offers the same reliability and ruggedness, however, it is more maneuverable, efficient and economic. It can accept over 30 special aftermarket bodies with weight as much as 10 tonnes for use in urban cycle.

In this particular case, the first KrAZ-5401 chassis cab is provided with sweeping equipment made by Turkish manufacturer Katmerciler. According to tender conditions, the street sweeper was built for utility companies of Poltava and went to sweep streets of the central city of the region. The second chassis cab went to “Spetsbudmash” (Brovary) to accommodate garbage equipment.  

Expanding its lineup «AutoKrAZ” plans to satisfy needs in national light special vehicles.
