In October, “AutoKrAZ” once again saw significant increase in business performance. Output grew by 219 percent as compared to the previous month.
216 vehicles rolled off the main assembly line of the Kremenchug Automobile Plant in October, a record figure since the beginning of the year. It is 2,4 times more than in the same period of the previous year and up 34 percent from September’s figure. The number of vehicles produced by the company from January through October totals to 1110, it is an increase of 53,3 percent from the same period a year ago.
Platform trucks account for 40 percent of the total output, special vehicles for 33 percent, chassis cabs for 26 percent, truck tractors for 1 percent.
Sales also grew last month, in October the company sold 205 vehicles, up 26 percent from a month ago and 1,6 times more than in the same period a year ago.
The company reports growth in other lines of activity of “AutoKrAZ”. Since the beginning of the year the company manufactured UAH 45m worth of spare parts, it is up almost 27 percent from a year ago. Production of castings went 21 percent up from the same period of past year, with UAH 54,7m worth of castings.
In October, in accordance with Development Plan for 2014 the company built a new 4x2 KrAZ-5444 two-axle chassis cab designed to achieve maximum unification and ensure adaptation to various power packs and body superstructures. It is provided with street sweeping equipment by leading Turkish manufacturer Katmerciler. This municipal vehicle and another two October’s novelties, road maintenance vehicles built by KrAZ in partnership with “Spetsbudmash” (Brovary), the 4х2 КрАЗ-5401К2 special vehicle with sand spreading and street washing equipment and the road maintenance vehicle with sand spreading and snow removal equipment based on the 6х4 KrAZ -7511С4 dump truck are currently on display at the twelfth edition of the International Specialized Exhibition KommunTekh 2014.
Today vigorous efforts are taken to prepare plant shops and departments for winter, improve quality, reduce production costs and build new models of KrAZ vehicle according to Development Plan.
